Darwin Nunez bagged a brace, and Mohamed Salah and Thiago also scored goals as Liverpool defeated AC Milan 4-1 in an exciting match in the Dubai Super Cup on Friday.
Forward Salah scored within the 5th minute of the match after a nice symbiosis in the middle of the area together with Joel Matip. And he was then slapping his ball in the lower corner effortlessly.

AC Milan equalised after a cross by the winger Ante Rebic was able to beat the defender Andrew Roberston and was picked up by forward Alexis Saelemaekers, who drove into the box before finishing with an unorthodox strike in the back corner.
Liverpool regained their lead just before half-time when midfielder Thiago could control the ball from outside the box’s edge with a masterful touch before putting it in the net over the goalkeeper Antonio Mirante.
In the second half, there were several substitutes for both teams, and Liverpool secured the win with a substitute. Nunez scored two goals in the final minutes.
The penalty shootout takes place after every game of the Dubai Super Cup, and Milan won a 4-3 victory after Liverpool had their two spot-kills saved.
Liverpool will take on Manchester City in the EFL Cup round of 16 on Dec. 22. They will travel for Aston Villa when the Premier League resumes in December. 26.
Liverpool against AC Milan: How to watch

How to stream Liverpool’s match at AC Milan with lineup news, streaming, and TV alternatives.
While the World Cup draws to a close, Liverpool faces Serie A club and their long-term European opponents AC Milan in a club friendly at the Dubai Super Cup tonight before returning to competitive football in the coming week.
The players from England, Brazil and the Netherlands are not available because of their participation during Brazil, England and the Netherlands due to their participation in World Cup. Also, Arthur Melo, Diogo Jota, and Luis Diaz are out with injuries.
This month, Liverpool was defeated in an international friendly 3-3 against French side Lyon in which Carvalho scored in the first minute. With Alisson still returning, Caoimhin Kelleher will likely play as the No. 1 goalkeeper tonight. Youthful players Stefan Bajcetic, Harvey Elliott and Fabio Carvalho are also likely to play to prepare for the gruelling season ahead. Elliott suffered a knock during the match against Lyon but has since returned to the training facility and will participate in the match.
In the game in Milan, Liverpool may come up against the former Liverpool player Divock Origi, who joined Milan earlier this season to join the Italian club. Milan fell 1-2 to Arsenal on the same day in a friendly match for the club.

Darwin Nunez scored twice as Liverpool finished their mid-season training camp the win 4-1 against Milan.
The Uruguayan was substituted to win comfortably for the Reds, who were already ahead before his debut thanks to goals scored by Mohamed Salah and Thiago Alcantara.
Milan had already wiped out the first one by Alexis Saelemaekers but was, in the end, second best throughout the 90 minutes and only managed an impressive 4-3 victory in the shootout after the match to demonstrate their efforts.
But the Italians will still need to finish last in the Dubai Super Cup standings, and their opposition moving into third place behind Lyon and Arsenal.
However, the most critical takeaway for Liverpool from the game in Al Maktoum Stadium will be the boost in confidence from four goals and an impressive performance in the lead-up to the game on Thursday, which is a League Cup trip to Manchester City.
Nunez receives a much-needed boost.

If there was one player Liverpool regrets the most having lost to World Cup, Nunez was it.
After a rocky beginning towards his Anfield career, The Uruguayan made seven strikes ten games before the break. It was beginning to look like a player worthy of the PS85m payment to Benfica.
So, going to Qatar to play three games without a goal that ended in two draws and two losses wasn’t the best next step for maintaining his confidence.
Thankfully, the 23-year-old did not show any signs of the brief time spent in his country that impacted his performance here, despite taking his two goals to take over where he was left.
Youngsters shine once more.

Liverpool’s youngsters already proved their potential in the EFL Cup victory over an established Derby County team early last month.
They appeared determined to prove it wasn’t a unique event by grabbing an opportunity to play in the first team with both hands in this game.
The duo of Bobby Clark and Ben Doak got assists for Nunez as they left the bench, with the latter with a particularly impressive curling through-ball.
In the meantime, Stefan Bajcetic showed why his popularity is so high in the eyes of Jurgen Klopp and his team of coaches with an impressive midfield display.
The reds have every reason to be excited about the current new players on their books.
The team is vital to take on Manchester City.
With only one change in the opening XI after the defeat against Lyon, Klopp dropped a large hint regarding his squad for Manchester City here.
The players like Salah, Roberto Firmino, Joel Matip and Thiago Alcantara all seem sure to be in the starting lineup following their appearances in both friendly matches in Dubai.
The only issue is who is the first to start on the left side, as Fabio Carvalho and Alex Oxlade Chamberlain share the responsibility across the two games.
But, no matter how Klopp decides, Liverpool should be sure to field a squad capable of winning against the City team that is likely to be depleted in the coming World Cup.
