A former “Power Rangers” star Jason David Frank died, His manager confirmed. He was 49.

“Please respect the privacy of his family and friends during this horrible time as we come to terms with the loss of such a wonderful human being,” manager Justine Hunt said in an announcement. “He was a lover of his family as well as his fans, friends and family greatly. He will be greatly missed.”
The reason and the manner of his death have not yet been announced.

His combat skills didn’t end on the screen. He was a member of the World Karate Union Hall of Fame and an Eighth Degree Black Belt. He also ran Rising Sun Karate, a martial arts school.

On Sunday, “Rest in Power” was popular on Twitter with an array of tweets that included loving messages and pictures to commemorate the late hero of childhood.
Walter Emanuel Jones, the first Black Ranger, took to Instagram to honor his former co-star and share an image that shows the “Power Rangers” “Power Rangers” squad on the red carpet.
“Can’t believe it! …. RIP Jason David Frank,” he wrote using prayer hand emoticons. “My heart is sad to have lost another special family member.”
