Rivalry week was crazy, people. Four top nine College Football Playoff teams lost last week’s ranking.

Four teams are almost sure to be eliminated from the playoff race, that is insane.
The week began with the annual Egg Bowl, where a ranked Ole Miss team hosted Mike Leach. Mississippi State was also present. However, the Rebels couldn’t hold on to a win and will be removed from the final regular season rankings. Lane Kiffin is avoiding those Auburn rumors for now.

On Friday, two more ranked teams were defeated by North Carolina. The Tar Heels lost in overtime to NC State. Cincinnati also lost against a strong Tulane team. The Green Wave is now the favorite in the New Year’s Six Group of Five.
Ohio State lost to Michigan on Saturday for the second year. LSU lost against Texas A&M on a significant road game, while Clemson lost against South Carolina at home. Oregon lost a thrilling match against Oregon State.

It was an exciting season end for the College Football Playoff Race, and I don’t know who should have the best chance of making it out other than Georgia and Michigan.
