AL RAYYAN (Qatar) — Croatia returned strongly to knock Canada out of the first World Cup in 36 years.

Andrej Kramaric scored two goals for the 2018 runners-up in Sunday’s 4-1 win over Canada, which was eliminated in Qatar after two matches.

Alphonso Davies scored Canada’s first-ever World Cup goal just one minute into the match. Marko Livaja, Lovro Majer and Lovro Majer also scored goals for Croatia. Croatia lost to France in Russia four years ago and opened the game with a draw against Morocco.
