Black Adam full movie Plots
In 2600 BC, Ahk-Ton, the despotic ruler of Kahndaq, designs the Crown of Sabbac, which bestows enormous power on the bearer. A young slave boy is given the abilities of Shazam by the Council of Wizards after attempting to lead a revolution, transforming him into Kahndaq’s heroic champion, who kills Ahk-Ton and ends his reign.
Kahndaq is now oppressed by the Intergang. Adrianna Tomaz, an archaeologist and resistance warrior, attempts to locate the Crown of Sabbac with the assistance of her brother Karim and their associates Samir and Ishmael. Intergang ambushes them as Adrianna receives the crown, and Samir is slain. Adrianna recites an incantation that rouses Teth-Adam from his slumber, believing him to be Kahndaq’s champion.
The majority of the Intergang troops are slaughtered by Adam. Amanda Waller, a US government official, considers Adam a threat and calls the Justice Society—Hawkman, Doctor Fate, Cyclone, and Atom Smasher—to have him arrested. The Justice Society arrives just in time to prevent Adam from wreaking further havoc on Kahndaq and Intergang’s warriors, before explaining to Adrianna that Adam was not a savior who was entombed, but a lunatic who was imprisoned.
Ishmael reveals himself as the Intergang boss in Kahndaq and pursues Adrianna’s teenage son Amon, who has stolen the crown. Adam, Adrianna, and the Justice Society plan to trade the crown for Amon. They find Ishmael, who confesses that he is the last descendant of King Ahk-Ton and demands the crown to reclaim his rightful place on the throne, which Adrianna gladly offers to save Amon’s life. Ishmael breaks his end of the bargain and shoots at Amon, causing Adam to lose control and destroy the hideout with his power, killing Ishmael and injuring Amon.
Guilt-ridden, Adam retreats to the ruins of Ahk-palace, Ton’s where he tells Hawkman that the traditions of Kahndaq’s champion were erroneous; it was Adam’s son Hurut who has bestowed Shazam’s powers and became Kahndaq’s champion. Knowing Hurut was unbeatable, Ahk-assassins Ton was ordered to kill Hurut’s family, including Adam and Hurut’s mother. Hurut gave Adam his powers to spare his life, and Ahk-assassins Ton assassinated the de-powered Hurut right away. A furious Adam massacred all of the king’s warriors and destroyed Kahndaq’s palace accidentally. The Council of Wizards later considered him unfit and imprisoned him within the Rock of Eternity.
Adam gives up, believing he is incapable of becoming a true hero. The Justice Society transports him to a secret Task Force X black site, where Fate foresees Hawkman’s demise. As the Justice Society returns to the city, they realize Ishmael purposefully made Adam kill him while he was wearing the Crown of Sabbac, shooting at Amon in order for him to be damned to Hell and reborn as the champion of Sabbac’s six demons, arising from the underworld to claim his throne and the power held within.
Sabbac unleashes the Legions of Hell on Kahndaq, but Amon, Adrianna, and Karim organize the people to oppose them. The Justice Society prepares to confront Sabbac amid Ahk-ruins, Ton’s but Fate conjures a magical force field that keeps Hawkman, Cyclone, and Smasher out. He confesses that Hawkman’s death is avoidable with his own sacrifice. After speaking to Adam in his cryo slumber, Fate battles Sabbac alone and utilizes astral projection to free him. Sabbac then murders Fate, removing the force field and allowing the others to battle. Adam arrives and battles Sabbac just as he is ready to kill the Justice Society. Adam kills Sabbac with the help of Hawkman and Fate’s helmet.
The Justice Society part ways amicably with Adam, who embraces his new job as Kahndaq’s defender and takes the name, Black Adam.
Waller talks with Adam in a mid-credits sequence, warning him not to leave Kahndaq, before Superman comes and recommends they meet.
